Hawke Customer Service

I had a Hawke 8-32x sidewinder. From the start, the scope wasn't clear at all. I couldn't resolve pellet holes on 32x at 25 yards. Well, figuring that was just beyond the scope's capability, I put up with it for quite a while. After using another 32x scope I had, I got frustrated and called Hawke. I spoke with JR in customer service. I told him of my complaint and after a brief conversation on trouble shooting scopes and optical expectations, he gave me an RMA and willingly told me to ship it back and he would gladly check it out. I asked that if he found anything wrong with the scope if he would swap it out with one with the half mil dot reticle, the SR Pro was just a bit cluttered for my liking. A week went by and a brand new 8-32x with mil dot scope was at my door. I opened the box and was amazed at how clear the image was. No blurry, cloudiness I had been dealing with in the other scope. The scope I have now is crystal clear and a much less cluttered field of view. Not only can I see 22 cal pellet holes clearly at 25 yards on 32x, I can see flies and ants at 53 yards. I am impressed. It was well worth the shipping back and re mounting and zeroing of the scope. JR was a true professional and solved my issues. Great customer service.

I've had a wonderful experience with Hawke customer service as well.. Had a turret screw break off my 'second hand' Sidewinder due to over tightening at my end. Replacement turrets were sent to me immediately, no questions asked and and no charge, to a country that Hawke doesn't even have retailers in.. Customer service way beyond any expectations..
