Having the same trigger

I have three break barrels atm and they all have different idiosyncrasies with their triggers. The two Trails have had the same trigger fix and attention but both are noticeably different. My LGV trigger is on another level altogether, and I suspect that my new Diana 56TH trigger will be different again. It is because of these vastly different trigger experiences that now I only shoot one rifle at a time. I used to shoot all of them nearly every day but getting used to the different triggers was somewhat discouraging when it came to accuracy. Now I only shoot one rifle each week, when Sunday comes around the rifle is cleaned, screws checked, oiled and put back into the safe waiting for it’s turn in a couple of weeks. I have found that this has increased my accuracy dramatically. It might take me a session to get used to the trigger but after that memory takes over.

Now I know you can buy after market triggers like GRT but IMO I think that there would be still very noticeable differences. I reckon everyone of us would experience this. Do you do the same as me or do you just use your favourite rifle. I know some of you guys have extensive collections and I was just wondering what everyone else did.

Ease of cocking, trigger precision, stability of the shooting platform over time, fit to your size/physicallity, suitability for your shooting interests... I assess my guns much as I did my potential wife upon a time. Do we 'fit'? Are the marriage screws keeping our action solid? Do we share a vision for what qualifies as legitimate 'prey?

My guns each check off these conditions in unique ways, but each also fulfills some aspect of my airgunning vision that the others don't get as well. Very much the old "dance with the one what brung ya, but only get brung by one you wanna dance with"

I am so with you on this OP. I tell you what else I have found out is if I shoot my fewb124 with a horrible trigger and then go to my HW55 with a incredible trigger the incredible trigger if even better then before. IT so much more noticeable on the HW that the trigger is so good right after switching from the fwb124. whear as if I only shoot the HW and not the fwb124 the HW trigger becomes ordinary and I appreciate it less take it for granted if you will. Then I also have another hw55 with a trigger that is adjusted with far less first stage in it, switching between the HW guns is far less dramatic and noticeable.
