Ground Squirrel Triple Threat (Video)

I found your vids on youtube about a month ago...have watched a bunch! It's incredible what a colossal infestation of squirrels there are, in those parts of CA.! You have some serious air rifle power and skills, very nicely done always.

I'm also at war with squirrels, but with much cheaper equip., (Gamo .22 and Sig Sauer MCX .177! ☺) and protecting the home instead of farmland.

These gargoyle animals did thousands of dollars in damage to my siding between 2009-2015, chewing it up trying to get in the house. They also tried to get in the attic. Yard has been devastated, with holes and collapsed tunnels everywhere. Used to be flat and level, now its lumpy and hole riddled all over! 😡

After fixing all the damage and a full home reno in '15, I'm not *$@#king around anymore! Just got the .22 recently, and it's my first .22 air rifle. Before that it's always been .177's. The SIG MCX has a 30 rd. .177 mag! 😃☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺. Also have an old Crosman Co2 rifle from the 1980's. Sold my first Gamo .177.

But the funny thing is, between 09 and now, my total squirrel kills probably is around 30-50?

I've seen some of your vids where you get that many in a DAY!! 😮

The answer to that question depends on what your intended uses are. The .25 is a great caliber, especially when using JSB 33.95gr pellets at around 900 FPS. It's bark is able to be tamed and it's very accurate. The .30 is also great but does not have as many pellet choices as the .25 cal. I have two .30 cals and they are both very different animals. One is mid powered and pushes 44.75gr JSBs at 930 FPS for 15-17 shots. Deadly accurate. My other .30 pushes 44.75gr JSBs at 1025 FPS for about 30+ shots but is very loud. The .35 cal is a large game caliber and is also very loud.

So again, what would you be using it for primarily?
