My compressor will arrive on Wednesday, Jul 5th, but it feels like I need to wait a month! I wonder how reliable these compressors are?
I am also planning to install hour meter, has anybody installed it already?
It should not be that difficult to solder couple wires to the compressor switch, but which hours meter to use is a question.

Hey Vladb. I have a couple hours on mine and so far it works great. I wish it had an hour meter too but I'm not touching anything. The instruction manual has a page in the back to keep track of fills. I made multiple copies and just attach it to the compressor and faithfully fill it in with exact fill times and a total running tally. Easy enough and no warranty issues. The only negative I have is how many pellets i go through now. I can't shoot everyday like a lot of you but when i do, i shoot close to a thousand over a weekend. And those .25 pellets aint cheap. You will love it.

Mine shows it will be here tomorrow around 12:30 - 1:00 at least that's when UPS normally shows up at my home. My 74cf tank is waiting and now I can also top off my 90ci tank that I tried to fill with my hand pump,only made it to 3400psi pump is only good for 3500 so I stopped.

lmold, Oh man, I was pumping my 40cf 3442 psi tank manually up to 3700 psi(I know, bad vlad). Such a good workout! It take several hours to fill it from 2400 psi to 3700 psi.

Took me 3800 pumps and 3 days to get that 90ci tank to 3400psi, I would do 20 full pumps and then take a break the last 900psi was tuff had to put gloves on, I also have health issues that made it take longer so I'm sure a healthy young person could of done it in less time but never again will I try to do it. At least I can say I've tried it........

lmold, well, whether you want it or not, if you pump your tank manually on regular basis, you will get younger and healthier ;-)

Compressors will make us weak 
Can't wait the moment I will start getting weaker! Which is this Wednesday.
It would be much better if it could arrive on Friday, 4 straight days of no work would be a great time off to play with the rifle tuning and compressor.

Oh yeah. But don't for get to buy lots of pellets once you get it. LOL Also make sure you have your compressor oil and distilled water so you can be ready to go when it arrives. Good luck. I have banished my hand pump to the closet.

My AV compressor should be here within the next hour and I just realized I only have a gal of purified water, hopefully I still have some distilled water in my shop or I suppose I could just add a quart of antifreeze instead of water but anyway I feel like a child at Christmas time or a puppy in the window anticipating the arrival.

IMOLD do you think anti freeze is ok? I wondered about that too. But i was nervous about using it in case the hoses and such weren't made for it? Let me know how it works and what temp your compressor gets up to after ten minutes of filling a bottle. Thanks.
