Took the Wildcat .22 on a woods walk Friday, Got 4 in Am & 2 on the evening hike. First limit (6 ) of the season. Still a lil too warm, but mornings are bearable. The WC carries comfortably under the right arm & is great for long woods walks. Much better than hauling my Wolverine or FX 400. I don't really love bottle guns, not sure why I bought them. The only PCP that carries better is my Colibri, flatter. My Streamline is nice & light & carries good, but it is not as accurate or as powerful as my WC. My WC & Colibri are my most accurate, with the Colibri just a tad better. For me, bullpups are the ultimate tree squirrel gun if hiking any distance.

Yeah, we eat them. ( pressure cook for 20-30 minutes in chicken broth) , then finish in stew or roll in flour & fry. I have been huntin squirrels for nearly 50 years. Most of the shots yesterday was approx 40 yards. One was a tad over 50 yards. This WC shoots jsb 16 grain a lil better than the 18 , so that is what I have been using. Think last I chronied it was 950 + - , will check that out tomorrow to make sure. I thought about a WC in 25, but was afraid the trajectory would be too much. Nice big holes though for very lethal humane shots. I have a Royale 400 in .22 that I got it jacked up with 24 inch barrel & it shoots 18 grain jsb 1000 fps. I have taken about 250 squirrels with it. However, it is not a good carry gun, the bottle is a pain when slinging, better with extension I added , but not near as comfy as a bullpup. Here is a pic of it, I store two extra mags in the stock, via a metal tobacco box I inletted in stock.
