FX Wildcat MK2 or Brocock Bantam HM regulated ?

"sonny"
"hawkeye69"I own a Wildcat and a non-regulated Bantam, both in.22. They are pretty close in accuracy, but of the two I prefer the Bantam for ergonomics, convenience, balance and handling.
What does pretty close mean? is one more accurate?
It mean that I can't pick one over the other as being more accurate with a full charge of air. But the WC, being regulated, edges out the Bantam towards the limit of its usable shot string. Which is exactly what I would expect. But with the new regulated version that advantage is nullified.

Another thing to think about is reliability. ...I owned three fx and all broke in a short time. I'm sure guys have had good luck with them but my personal opinion is the quality is not what it should be on a 1k plus airgun . The compatto I own cocks super smooth and chambers perfect every time ....seems built to last. PS the mag on the bantam is also hands down the best mag on any airgun made period .

I agree with you on the magazines. Daystates are very similar but the Bantam's is better.

I have FX Wildcat in .22 and Brocock Compatto .25. Both are good rifle in their price range. Yes, I did paid a little more for the Wildcat. After target shooting and hunting with both of them, I would have to go with FX Wildcat. Compatto is great on my shoulder for hunting but the wildcat is much more consistent on accuracy and better craftsmanship in my opinion. I only had them for 6 months so not sure about which one is more reliable. If the Bantam is a brother to Compatto, I have a feeling the accuracy may be the same. For target sport, I'll take my Wildcat, however as for varmint hunting, I'll take my Compatto.
