Fx Streamline and the best group of my.... S%$#

Today in Michigan overcast, 60ish and light breeze. While walking out of the factory gate at quitting time I decided it would be nice to sit and shoot. I cruised home windows down. Got out my Streamline aired it and fed my dogs. Just switched back to my Hawke Frontier from an athlon FFP yesterday sighted in and ready to go. Set my plastic table out as I do each time I shoot set my target out at 45yds my max at this point in time. I have been enjoying this rifle a ton trying to find the best pellet and get every thing just so. ! mag per bull and there I went a flier first shot and all went smooth for 10 shot more. Then on to the next bull so on and so on. I usually get about 63 shots a fill but as I had lowered the power a bit I figured it would be higher by a couple so I was goin for 6 mags ie 6 bulls today. With 5 down and one to go so far all my groups fairly average and lookin pretty good for me. And so I started Number 6 shot one X shot two same hole and 3 and 4 and so on ever so slightly widening and 10 one shot to go and I was feeling great I had never put up a group like this in my life! So I line up what was to be my final shot a sure thing the way this group had come together so far. The perfect hold steady as a rock and slowly and evenly I squeezed that trigger for sweet N0.11. I felt that sweet second stage snap and TUNGK!!! A sickening sound if you have a streamline that sad realization setting in that the last shot was off reg a hollow and sad noise. I cringed as the pellet flew down range and pierced that target smacking the back stop. I knew I couldnt take that one back..... poop!! There it was so conspicuously NOT an X.

The info for those that may want to know JSB 18s set at an avg FPS of 863... And may you never experience this gut twisting moment.

No not yet I keep thinking about it but I don't get much time to prep with the baby. I only had two fliers really my streamline always seems to jump up on the shot it falls off reg and always makes a hollow tunk sound when it does. I have been impressed with how well it shoots. On the whole my Impact is much tighter generally but it may be me. It can be harder to shoot the Streamline its so light.

I was having issues with parallax couldnt keep everything in focus was giving me a headache if i shot more than a couple groups didnt really matter what magnification I used unless I was over 20 power and then the image was dimming I just found that scope to be super irritating I like the FFP that part was awesome but if things dont focus... I posted in the Optics section looking for suggestions on a better FFP thats clear like my hawkes but man they are not cheap. I like a bit more power on my scope regardless of what people say is needed. So thats all up in the air still not sure what to do there the suggestions were on opposite ends of the spectrum on everything including price. I am getting a bit to many pricey scopes in my collection and I dont want to lose my ass trying to sell them.
