FX Streamline

I just got my .22 cal Streamline and put the first magazine through it at 25 yards. It is putting 18 gr JSBs into a single hole on medium power, sips air and the gun going off is just a click of the sear dropping with their stackable moderator. I'm totally impressed so far. The gun is ultra light and feels good. I like the synthetic stock, seems to stick to your hands. Did I mention it is extremely quiet ? I'm liking it a lot so far.

Congrats! You're the first on this thread for it to arrive. Please keep us updated with shot strings (fill pressure and pellets), pictures of yours dressed with your favorite scope :) When you get chance, if a moderator was to be installed what type of thread does it have to install one?

If I were AirForce, Benjamin, BSA or Weihrauch, I would be very worried now. Yes, it's a little more expensive than the other guns however, the FX Streamline has all the best features of all the guns mentioned. It's quieter than the Benjamin Marauder, is simple in design like the AF guns, has a side lever like the Weihrauch and has the no glare finish of the BSA blacked out stocks and best of all it has the FX Smooth Twist barrel. I am totally impressed so far and am glad I splurged.

I currently have a Leupold MK 4, 8.5-25x on it and the barrel is threaded 1/2" UNF. I'm using the FX Stackable moderator but at this point, I don't think the moderator is absolutely necessary. The gun as it comes is very quiet.

As for videos, I don't have the capability at this time. Pictures I can do but they are a hassle to post on here. I haven't quite figured out how to post in a reply box. I'll take some pics ASAP. I just hope someone will PM me with a simple way to post.

The gun really is great. So far, I'm impressed. Can't wait to try different pellets through it.

I held off posting pic for quite some time. I went to image safe and it is truly easy. Register. Then just click on browse, choose your pic from your computer's files. Not too big. When your pic shows in the small window click on upload then click on the thumbnail of your pic when it is finished uploading. This will take you to a large image of your pic. Copy the address at the top of your computer's screen and paste it into a comment box here. Check it in preview. Make sure the entire address is shown. http included.

I got a real nice Walnut stock on mine! It's got some real nice curly areas.
Since it's not fair to post a comment like that without pics, I took a break before firing my first shot to shoot these for y'all....

Yes, it comes with a moderator. And, it looks like it would be really easy to buy extensions for it if it isn't quiet enough for the owner. Again - I haven't shot it yet so, I can't tell you how effective it is.

"Menttaliist"It seems i was wrong :) It looks adjustable but the fx website doesn't say the same
I'll be curious to see just how much adjustment is available. This "new" trigger may not have much adjustment range???

The breech looks substantial and I am thinking about this rifle being a suitable platform to build a benchrest rifle off of??? The trigger will be 'key' with that endeavor.

The trigger seems to be the same as the royale. If that the case it's an awesome one for bench shoting. The thing it's that the gun is too light, but a custom stock may be the answer if you really wanna use it as a bench platform

I'm going to start my own thread about the Streamline probably tomorrow.
Sound - About the same as a AA S-510 when the Streamlines moderator is installed. Without the moderator - loud.
Trigger - I like it. It feels nice and crisp to me. Adjustable? I don't know yet. I'll post a picture of it with the stock off.
By the way, there's 3 screws holding the stock on. 1 in the usual place and then 2 more on either side of the trigger guard.

It fills using the same system as the Wildcat (post style) so, if you are in line to get one, make sure you have what you need to make that work on your system.

No problem PreCharged!
I've got the review about 1/2 way recorded already. I had to stop because the rifle was sent to me shooting way too hot 930's and 950's. Shooting the 18gr pellets at such high speeds is detrimental to accuracy. AoA's paperwork has the rifle shooting at ~908. Could it be the altitude causing the change? I don't know and it's too far to drive to find out. Power setting 2 dropped me down to the low 700's and the groups shrank right away. The high numbers, and difference between what I'm seeing and what AoA printed, is why I will not comment on accuracy or post any chrony strings.
