FX Streamline

Planning a gun for the coming year, I ran across the FX Streamline. From what I have seen, it will certainly be a good deal. If I were Benjamin or Weihrauch, I would be worried. Price wise it falls between the two and from what I know of FX guns, it will be equal to or better than the HW100. The HW100 and Marauder are good guns but I think FX has a better barrel set up and the quality on the FX guns are superb. I own a Royale, two Marauders and a custom HW100. The HW100 will shoot with the Royale but the Marauders won't come close. Single hole groups at 25 yqrds out of the Royale and the HW100 are expected and both guns are over the 1500.00 mark. One, WAY over that mark. The Marauders shoot well and are good for the money. Good entry level PCPs. The 177 Marauder is my first PCP gun.

Back to the Streamline. It has a smaller magazine for lower scope mounting. Synthetic ambidextrous stock. Smooth Twist barrel and very high build quality. It's regulated also as well as an adjustable trigger. If it shoots anything like my Royale FT gun, it will be well worth the 1000.00 asking price. I like the adjustable power level on the Royale. I shoot mine on medium power and swat flies at 25 yards with it. The Streamline looks a lot like the Royale action.

Well thats what AOA told me on the phone. I dont know how different it is from a .22 wildcat functionally but its air cylinder is 40cc smaller. if it functions the same and both have the same fill pressure. if a wildcat does get 75 shots off 230cc you should see just over 79% of that in the .22 streamline netting about 60 at 190cc. Hoping in a week or so I get to find out for sure....

In response to Iride,........

The Royale 400 FT I own has been flawless. I have well over 10 tins through it and not one single issue. It shoots a variety of pellets into very small spaces with predictable precision. If you miss, YOU missed, not the gun. It is incredibly accurate and a joy to shoot. The only problem is that when that gun comes out of the case, I run out of targets.

To be fair, I think Iride is referring to the FX Impact which is a very complex design that allows much modification to the base design. Another gun he may be referring to is also the independence which is also another unique design.

From my experience with the FX 400 FT, fit and finish is perfect, nothing there to talk about except how well it's made, As for performance, the gun is just boring to shoot. The only criticisms I can find with the gun is that the full length rail holds the moderator in place, thus not a free floating barrel. And that it don't take a magazine. With how well it shoots, I can live with that.

I just hope the Streamline isn't a rushed gun and that it shoots as well as my FT gun.
