7deuce, what's the hight of the ring you are using? Just wondering. In my case I use FX No Limits, they are kinda medium, no problems at all.

I'm using FX NL rings too. It's not a problem just a very minor nitpick. Doesn't effect anything but I can feel the mag touching my cheek. I'm very pleased with the purchase so far. Probably going to sell my FX magazines and buy another Side-shot mag.

I am thinking about designing something by myself that can fit more pellets. It might be something vertical(like a standard magazine) with a long light spring that will push pellets up. It might even have two rows so I could swap the side without full reload. Not sure yet. I need to get a good 3d printer first.

have you guys checked out Utah Airguns new moderator for the impact its tiny...idk if it will throw the ballance off for freehand addind heavier mag lighter mod ,,,im waitig for my impact ,,,ill let u know

12/6/17 just received my side shot magazine for my FX Impact. .25 cal-- 26 pellets. I worked in a machine shop 2 years. I see why it's $150.00. It is well done and well thought out. The front and back textured grip panels. I feel I could insert and remove this with winter gloves on and not be terrible concerned I'd drop it in the snow or leaf litter. The latch mechanism to open and reload is to simple to be damaged easy to use. Magazine does not protrude a lot. I'm not wondering about putting a pellet from the back as I reload it. Made that mistake a few times. ( Chemo therapy brain damage is real). 26 rounds ------26 !! Additional Magazines are $99 You have the mounting plate all ready.

"vladb"Misaligned magazine from FX.Original on the top, from AOA on the bottom.
If i take 2 100% functioning FX .30 mags and lay them like in the picture, they are "misalligned" aswell, yet they still funtion flawlessly. Guess its just how they are designed.
To others reading this, i would not worry about getting a "misalligned" magazine.
If you have a broken FX mag im sure AOA would replace it without questions, 1 month old or not.
