FX Impact Side-Shot magazine + the message for FX Airguns.

I just installed Side-shot .25 FX Impact magazine.

Am I impressed? No, I am not. I AM VERY IMPRESSED!

It is so well made, that it makes original FX Impact magazine to look like a junk (it is actually a junk), that has a real price closer to $5, not $75.
I recently purchased seconds FX Impact magazine from AOA, thinking that it is the only way... but it looks like there is no even quality control on FX Factory for such items.
It is so poorly made, that I can't put JSB Heavies in some slots, even though I can put them into the original one that came with the rifle (with some effort).
All misalignments can be seen by human eyes easily.

Side Shot magazine easily fits, JSB Kings, JSB King Heavy standard/MKII - not issues and is so much easier to reload pellets. Just day and night difference.
There is also a minimal set of plastic details.

Hey FX Airguns, you have to learn from people how to make quality accessories. Making only awesome quality barrels, doesn't give you rights to make really bad and cheaply made accessories. I am really disappointed for wasting extra $75 for your junk.

Special thanks to @Matt_Dubber for discovering such good quality magazine.

Update: Youtube video of a reload process

did it mount ok ,,did u have to drill anything or did it clip on just watched matts vid ,,,ive seen them before ....a couple weeks ago i made a thread called giant impact magazines didnt get much interest ...not as much as i thought it should of Utah airguns has got them theyre also working on a silencer thatadds less than 2 inchs to the barrel Justin the owner and great guy was explaining to me how they work hes got them within one decible of the original shroud its still expiremental hes haven them made up soon hes gonna send me one so i can test it out

Mount process was smooth. No issues at all. Usability is freaking amazing.
I LOVE IT.

It is so easy to reload.
It high capacity - 26 shots.
Metal case.
The is a lock, so I will pull out magazine accidentally.

Yes, it is a little expensive $150. But it worth every penny from my personal stand point. However, comparing it with FX Impact original magazine, especially if you can hold both in hands, it makes FX a junk shop.

with fx pretty much leading in lots of directions they got some awesome designs in the impact wildcat revolution ,,,st barrells inter changing barrells ..great triggers now the smooth twist ,if they can produce some really great ideas in those ,,, i agree with ya whats the deal with crappy magazines y cant the put some effort into itt heck even copy a good design ,,we just want a quality product

This is very disturbing to me. Not about the side ahot magazine but the fact that there are seconds magazines floating around being sold. So how are we to know what we got is in fact a good magazine or one that just passes off as one. Take this even further how about when people sell their impacts with these second magazines. Me as a buyer would be pretty ticked off knowing it was a seconds product.

"FukoChan"Wow thanks for the info. I didn't know there was such poorly made fx magazines. Makes me question the gun a little. Can you return the second magazine you got from aoa?
Gun is ok. Magazine sucks. I am not sure I can return it, it is already over a month since the purchase date. If AOA could comment on that, it would be amazing. But really... I do not want FX Magazines any more. Side-shot has beaten them to the death. Second one is going to be side-shot, and the third one...

26+26+26? do you really need to load a whole tin at a time?

I tend to use single shot trays for most rifles :|

I just received my Side-Shot magazine today and installed it in under 20 min. The adaptor is well made, fits perfectly, and looks great. I loaded up the magazine and that's the biggest plus for me. With the factory mags, the pellet skirts on the heavier version pellets always get hung up when loading that required jiggling or something skinny to push the pellet in. The Side-Shot you remove the lid and drop the pellets in with no issues. Loading is so much easier now. Easily one of the best upgrades available for the Impact.
The only nitpick, which is very minor is I can feel part of the magazine on my cheek when aiming but that is definitely not a deal breaker.
