FX Impact: Seeking Male Foster Extender or Small Female to Male Connector

How about going a different route? I had the same problem, having to remove the trigger guard per the pic below. I just ordered this, and will post an update when it arrives in two days. Should make things much easier. I was talking to the guy who makes and sells these earlier today. I told him that perhaps the Swedish engineers all have small, thin fingers with manicured finger nails. I am the opposite so I am replacing the whole trigger guard with something better. The hose you see attached to the rifle is the compressor hose, I had to unscrew it from the compressor, then take off the trigger guard. Great video of the product as well as an installation demo. They have one with an extended pictiney rail as well.

WHy don't they just make a good connector on the Impact??

AOA shipped a female foster that was specially made for the impact. It is a bit longer than a normal female foster. When that is used on a stock impact, taking it off is a snap, even for someone with big hands and no fingernails like me. I almost did not install my Kraford and Lypt trigger guard once I tried the special longer female foster AOA sent with my Impact. If I had two of the longer female fosters, then I might revert back to the stock trigger guard. But if I ever fill my rifle from my compressor, the standard female foster at the end of my compressor hose is impossible for me to remove from the standard impact trigger guard. Without removing the trigger guard that is. 

"Mick-VA"@shortslide - that was why I connected a female threaded male foster to the "special" female foster fitting shipped with the impact.

It ends up working just like a "probe" that I can connect to the impact and fill from multiple source without buying a bunch of the"special" ones to permanently install on various fill stations.

@Mick-VA Many thanks for the tip. I just ordered one of these from Pyramid Air ($10), and it works perfectly. It comes with a Delrin seal and seals great without excessive pressure required. This makes filling the Impact easy.

Too bad FAX can't make it right or at least do what Daystate does with the Wolverine Hilite and ship an adapter to make removal of the foster a breeze. Spending this kind of money and having to search for a solution to fill in a normal manner is crazy. 

Was the kraford and lyft trigger guard worth it or should a guy just go with female foster to the fx quick disconnect ..

@carpguy I'd say yes. The hole is large, and there is that cap. Even if you aren't looking for the extended one, it's worth it. 

I pickup one from Joe the air tank guy. Easy on easy off.
