Attached are photos of a Impact .30 cal magazine after 2 1/2 weeks of indoor only use. No dirt no dust no weather. 44gr JSB. magazine accompanied Impact USA shipment of May/June 2017.
As you can clearly see, the magazine is FULL of lead shavings where the clear cover is clipping the skirts of the pellets as the magazine indexes. Not optimal for consistency and accuracy. These photos were after previous cleaning twice in 2 weeks. If you look closely at the clear plastic covers, you can see the scratches and grooves worn in from shaving the pellet skirts.
By comparison, I have 3 year old .25 and .30 Bobcat mags that do not have a speck of lead clippings.
Please review your QC process on these magazines and make the appropriate adjustment.
