"Brian.in.MI"Looks pretty interesting, guys. Expect to see an update from Michael in the IWA 2018 forum.
Morning Brian, yeah I saw that on instagram. I'm still waiting for an official press release from FX. I'll move this topic to IWA 2018 then merge it with the "official" announcement when it arrives.

Cheers

Thanks buddy! I just downloaded your pics & I'll upload them here. In Steve's words "FX Airguns new modular "Dreamline" comes in at under $1,000 and with it comes the ability to swap barrel inserts, bolt probes, silencers, stocks, pistol grips, rails & more. It also benefits from an externally adjustable regulator, hammer spring, and transfer port like the Impact and Crown as well as FX's high capacity angled magazine."

Enjoy!

Now thats thinking modular!

Wow, that looks amazing! $1000 for all of that? Does that include a stock of your choosing or are the add on's extra? Also, I'm really curious about something. In all of those pictures, and all of those different stock configurations, the cocking lever is right above the trigger assembly......except one. The "wildcat" stock. The cocking mechanism is far behind the trigger assembly. Do they have a different linkage setup for that stock in particular? Good work Steve, thanks for sharing!!!!

I was thinking the same thing. Look at the trigger on the wildcat stock, it is way up there compared to the others. Also on the streamline stocks, the safety is a flip lever on top whereas on the impact looking ones you have the safety down by the trigger. Maybe two different base actions? I guess more info will be helpful, maybe they are still in prototype stage.

"T3PRanch"It is the same action but when put in a bullpup stock the cocking lever is naturally farther back.

Hmmmmm I'm not sure I'm understanding. When I'm looking at the pictures, I think I see how it can be the same action but there has to be some kind of linkage that goes with the bull pup stock to distance the trigger from the cocking lever so much. The cocking lever is placed several inches behind the trigger mechanism in the bull pup and the cocking lever sits directly above the trigger on all the others. Can you elaborate some more? Thanks for the help!!

Cliff

@Cliff_Allen All speculation on my part since this thread is the first I have heard of this Brilliant Idea!
The Cocking lever is fixed to the action and is therefore not movable to an alternate position.
I suspect that the bullpup stock has a trigger linkage that allows the action to be dropped in
with minimal effort of the user.

This might answer some questions.

-The bullpup kit has a trigger linkage, similar to the wildcat that you can fit to the action.
-The bullpup kit will have an optional forward coking lever kit that you can fit.
-These guns are much easier to produce than the Impact, despite having similar features. I’m guessing they will be able to produce them much quicker than the Impact, so backorders shouldn’t be as bad.
