Today while shooting the new Crown a half dozen magpies came along and decided to land of all places on my 75 yard target stand. Really, really bad decision. The Crown is so quiet they didn't know what was going on. When the first went down they all got excited and started squawking around him. 2nd one went down and they all flew off for about 5 min, but had to come back to check on their buddies. Of the 6 only half left for good. They are no match for the 25 JSB's. Only thing I love shooting more then magpies is pigeons and then starlings.

Nice. I've never seen a magpie in the flesh. Although I've visited many places where they supposedly live.

We should have our FX Crown .25 cal Monday
They must be bothers to the solid black crows we have, the magpie is black & white i thank. Wound one and you will have all his friends come to check on him, you need someone with a shotgun to help get the ones that want land.
