FT Nationals scores are in but we still need pictures and

This has been the most tight lipped Nationals since I've been shooting. I wonder if there are copyright issues seeing as AOA is sponsoring and likely recording the event. I hope not though and that the shooters are having such a good time they have forgotten to post.

I would think it would no more about the sport not enough information floating around maybe I can see I'm not looking in the right spot so they shot in Holbrook weekend I totally forgot about it I wanted to see what I've been missing there's a few guys here like yourselves the to really enjoy it I want to see what I'm missing what is a troyer 50. Is that like a par 5

I traveled from NC to AZ for the first time and stayed at a campground near the range. For a guy who grew up and has lived all his life in NC it was a treat.

The Phoenix Airgun Club were great hosts, and the course was quite challenging. Some tricky shots, swirling winds, and the environment made for some tired shooters at the end of each day. I ended up in a three way tie for second in open PCP with a 102, a point behind Bobby C who shot a combined 103 for a well-deserved open PCP win.

I'm sure that Garrett will get a match report out soon.

While out of the ordinary for FT national matches, there was a Sunday night banquet which was very enjoyable.

Pat, a Troyer is a points based system used to define a courses difficulty bases on target placement, kill zone size and weather conditions. Each target has a specific value, all target values are averaged to get a course difficulty rating. It was put together by multiple national champion Brad Troyer some years ago and has even been adopted by the world field target federation. Unfortunately there are no mulligans or handicaps so ti's up to you to practice and improve if you want to win.

Easy there amigo... we just wrapped up the weekend’s events. Now we are just getting back to our jobs, and families. Reports and pics and video don’t just happen overnight. There is no AoA conspiracy, and AAFTA is not lacking anywhere here. There are over 1000 pictures and they need to be edited down. Please check back on our website within the week. If I didn't know better I'd say there were around 50 Thomas rifles at the event
