Today was opening day of squirrel season in Louisiana. This is the first time hunting squirrels with an airgun, and I have to say it was a challenge but very fun. I had the shotgun in the truck in case the wind got too bad or I just couldn't hit with the airgun. I was using my Edgun in 25 cal I got in September. I was able to bag two nice size fox squirrels. I did make contact with some grays but was not able to retrieve as one fell in a creek and the other fell in a fork of the tree about 40' up and I couldn't it out no matter how I tried. Overall it was a great time and I will try to get back out tomorrow depending on Hurricane Nate.
