Finally got the AV Compressor.

Got it a few days ago but hurt my back and haven't been able to get it out of the box till today. Set it up. Filled with compressor oil and distilled water and ran it 15 minutes with no load to break it in. Its about as loud as a pancake compressor. Not as bad as I thought. Then I filled my 90 cubic inch tank from 2000 psi to 4500 psi in less than 15 minutes and the temp never got above 63 C. Now I'm filling my big 3000 psi scuba tank from about 2000 psi. Will give the times if anyone is interested. Hope this lasts because I'm tired of pumping and I don't want the wife upset that I spent so much on something that broke. LOL Also they gave extra rebuild parts and connectors in the package. So hopefully I can fix any issues in the distant future. Update. the large scuba tank took 22-23 minutes to go from 2000 to 3000 psi and the temp was at 69 C. Now I just got to get out and shoot.

Good luck with the compressor, AV?

I never pumped, started out with two scuba tanks and a friend that owned the scuba store. He sold out and then the shop closed a few years ago.

I got a Daystate 2 and your shooting, experimenting etc. can be done without regard for running out or having to limit your shots etc.

If i had to make a decision, for a high dollar gun and no compressor vs's a good medium cost gun and a good compressor, it would be a no brainier for me, marauder's and a great compressor add so much enjoyment to the sport/hobby.

Again enjoy your air independence.
