Does anyone know of fiber optic sights that will fit/work on a Steyr LP50? Using the all black sights is becoming more difficult for my father so I’d like to hear about options others found and like. He wants to keep open sights, so red dots aren’t an option. Thanks.

I put fluorescent orange paint on my front and rear sight to see them better.

Thanks for the suggestion Mark404. That is likely the easiest/best option. I'm a little surprised there seemingly isn't a fiber optic option available. On my 1911s I slightly prefer the gold dot front sights to the tritium front sights.

I filed the edges of a Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite fiber optic low 0.365 sight at about 60 degrees until it fit in the Steyr’s channel (will apply touch up paint later). The M3x8 screw I got from Fastenal seems to be the best length with that sight.
