Drager SCBA bottles

The ebay seller is exchanging my UK for a US model. $40 boo boo. Still a great deal at under $275 for tank and fill station.

Mine is going back as my fill station won't touch without the dot and us hydro.

This seller just updated his ebay add and is no longer offering returns.

OK I got it figured out. I am returning the UK tank for a US tank. Its still a great deal. Just make sure you get the US tank. The ebay seller is a great person. I emailed him 20 times with questions. He is just learning that we use tanks also. He is in the breathable air business so he said he is trying to understand our need also.

Tank is about $110 shipped
Fill station is about $160

So $270 for 97cu ft of air is an awesome deal. 

Do you have a link for the specific tank you ordered?

Same guy on eBay. He's getting US bottles next week 

Messaging him now about doing an exchange now. Was there a price difference for a U.S. tank? Is it the same specs as the U.K. with the added DOT approval # ?

It's a US tank DOT certified tank. Nothing to do with the U.K. Same price but from 2005 with hydro up to date

You'll be able to get that tank filled for 3 more years. The 15 year period is from the BORN date, NOT the service life. For example, if the born date is 0405 no fill shop is going to fill it after April 2020. Now if you or a buddy have a HPA compressor that's a different story. Good luck.

I think like another poster said, if the hydro is current, the born date may be overlooked. And if you have your own fill solution, the tanks are a bargain. $100 for a fill solution! Sure opens up a lot of springers to the idea of pcps.

Born on date for the US bottles is 2005. $100 for 3 years is a deal for me 

I agree that IF the hydro is current and there's no problem getting it filled, $100 and $10 for 3 years of use isn't bad at all. What bothered me when I first almost bought one from him there was no info about the tanks being from the UK and I wouldn't have known if I hadn't asked for pics all the way around the tank. Maybe it was just ignorance re. problems getting those filled here, dunno. I almost spent $225 for one dated 2010 that I wouldn't have been able to get filled at my dive shop, wouldn't have been a happy camper! This was on another air gun forum, not ebay. Please let us know how it all turns out & if the hydro was really current so you didn't have to spend another $29-$40 for that. If it ends up like you're expecting & he still has a comparable US tank I'd be a buyer at that price. I'm pullin' for ya!

Unfortunately I think not, it'd be the same problem. The tanks are probably fine and are a great buy if they arrived in one piece but they wouldn't do you much good empty. JMHO

US or U.K.? What fitting did you use to fill at the paintball location?

I just purchased a Draeger with a 2015 manufacture date and current hydro from him. Great price for a couple of year old tank. I kept my stikman fill device too. I'll post a separate review on it.
