Damn Brian that’s one dead squirrel!

Anyways, your monster buck was moved to the Off Topics section. Because your right, it isn’t airgun related. You can discuss anything not related to airguns there. You should’ve received an email notification that your topics was edited and moved.

Great looking buck BTW, I’d be proud of it too!

Just what the online airgun community needs, another dead squirrel, right? (haha) I assumed that any moderator notification would be in my AGN inbox. I never check the OT page.. airguns are usually the only thing I talk about publicly. Thanks for clearing that up!

Yep. You know the sound…like a ball peen hammer smashing a ping pong ball.. The Cricket is a death ray. Such an innocent name for something so effective and lethal. “cricket”? Really?

Nice. A touch more power than is required for a clean kill, but it gets the job done!

High Explosive Anti Tank.  Modern explosive compounds lend themselves to being molded in a conical shape within the warhead of a missile or artillery shell.  This cone, in turn, can concentrate the explosive plasma that is developed in the few micro-seconds after the initial detonation of the explosive compound, directing that plasma as a jet or concentrated stream of energy suited to piercing far more armor or other material than would just the kinetic energy of a solid warhead.  Even the energy of a comparable amount of explosive compound, if not “shaped” for optimal effectiveness, will not penetrate nearly as much armor as the shaped version of the same explosive.

Holy moly Batman! That is almost as big a hole my buddy made on a squirrel with a .22 Magnum. Very impressive indeed. Thanks for sharing.
