Yesterday ordered a new Daystate type 2 compressor from AOA with the auto off and other upgrades. Really looking forward to getting it and doing a review. Traded in my Omega and AOA e-mailed me a shipping label. I paid for the return shipping but they get a better rate then us common folks. Now I get to do the old, air gun wait.

Congrats. I have a Daystate compressor (been meaning to do a review) & it is simply fantastic. It tops off my biggest tank (3000-4500) in less than 5 minutes.

Excellent choice. You'll have to put the plug on the power cord, insert the filter, and put oil in the compressor.
I also ran a drain line from the water separator to a plastic dish lined with paper towel and used duct tape to hold the line flat in the dish. I surrounded the line with paper towels so i have never had any splash or water to wipe off of the compressor.
I did use a few zip ties to hold the line place, because even opening the drain, even slowly could blow the line off of the drain spout.
So far the drain is working perfectly, no water to clean up.
Then you'll be filling your scba from 2800 to 4200 in 4 or 5 minutes.
I've also filled my two scuba tanks, 80 and a 117, both rated at 3442 psi, keep them filled and they take a few minutes also to top off.
Shoot all you want, you'll always have plenty of air in a few minutes.

Thanks guys. My Omega was doing a great job, but now both my brothers have started shooting air guns and this will be faster. Seems I'm the family source for free air.

I ended up purchasing the Coltri MCH6, upon which the Daystate T1/T2s are based. Just in case you haven't found them yet, there are a number of support videos on the Nuvair website showing various maintenance tasks up to and including complete teardown and assembly. I found them very useful.

Just curious because a Daystate T2 is on my wish list: Why did you go with the MCH6 (I know the Daystate is just a rebranded Coltri). Did you get a better price?

The price was essentially the same, maybe about $25-50 extra. I just decided that if I were getting a Coltri anyway, I might as well get the Coltri-branded one. Maybe there will be a better support network, parts availability, etc., who knows. And if and when it comes time to sell it, maybe my potential buyers will include scuba divers as well air gunners. All guesses, but I'm satisfied with the purchase.
JFYI, the form factor is like the Daystate T1 not the T2, but I added the hour meter and auto-shutdown like on the T2.

Banjogunner. Thanks. That's good information to know. I'll check them out. I'm excited to get this new daystate compressor. Plus, my tanks are almost out of air so shooting has slowed. UPS tracking says it will arrive tomorrow. Yesterday built me a 25 ft 220v extension cord.

When you get the compressor you'll have to add oil from the liter bottle.
Remember to remove the air cap next to the oil filler and add the oil slowly pausing a few times so you don't overfill, midway up the stick. I think it took about half a liter, this is all in the book. Then re place air cap. And snug down (push in) the filler cap.
I always check the oil before each use.

This compressor will change your approach to air gunning. No pressure to conserve etc, shoot in the sweet spot every time, shoot when where and how much you want. Hope you got pellets.
