Daystate Pulsar vs Kalibrgun Cricket

The Pulsar 0.22, 35 ft-lb is really quiet straight out of the box but you can quieten it even further by adding any mod threaded 1/2"UNF. I've got a Huggett Belita on mine. IMO electronic regulation is not as good as mechanical pressure regulation but is better than simple knock-open valving. The advantage, supposedly, of an electronic regulator is that it is maintenance free, apart from the occasional battery replacement.

I currently own both a black Cricket and a Pulsar Oro Edition. Both are very accurate. The Pulsar which has a Huggett LDC is the quietest gun I've ever owned. The Pulsar's electronic regulator is nearly as precise as the Cricket's mechanical one.

The Cricket's advantages are;
Much cheaper than the Pulsar.
More solid than the Pulsar, meaning if I bump it it's still accurate compared to the Pulsar that has it's barrel and scope base unsupported.
Higher Shot count, an honest 70 shots per fill.
Magazines are cheap and store nicely in the stock of the gun.

The Pulsar's advantages are;
It's a piece of art, if that's important to you.
It's quiet, very quiet with a Huggett.
Best trigger ever.
Has lots of bells and whistles, it that's important to you.

Thanks everyone.
I got my answer. Add a Daystate to my airgun instead of replace it. Based on your suggestion :)
You know this gun (Cricket) is exactly in middle range. not satisfying as well as I want and not bad enough to replace it with a new one.
I would buy a Daystate but if I keep my Cricket I'll buy a Wolverine or AirWolf. And of course before that saving money :)

I have a .22 cricket, and a while ago I bought a used .22 Pulsar meant to replace it with.

The Pulsar had a nicer finish, was quieter, shouldered better, had and lcd screen etc. However, it was not more accurate and the shot count was lower. Also harder to service and needed to be charged from time to time so I ended up selling it.

I have a better example.
Pulsar is kind of crossover sport car , for example Lexus NX200 F-sport. That is not an off-road car like FJ , LandRove or Jeep. And also not comfortable as sedan cars. The last funny part is that you think because of F-sport in that name you would have a sport car but it isn't.
Like this gun. not too short and light like cricket , not so accurate , less amount of shot , if it going to brake down you have to send in to the company and I think Daystate Saxon is peace of art not this one. All of that reminds me AirArms S510 Ultimate which is not ultimate. But finally you will love it :)
If Cricket score is 50 point for repairing you would give how much point to Pulsar?

Very nice, but I would never give up my AirWolf for that thing 😀

Agreed, my Cricket on accuracy is right there with my AirWolf (both .22). The trigger is nowhere near the wolf both its very nice. I'm simply saying the Daystate line is a site to behold just looking at them, and the same when shooting. Great engineering.
