Cricket scores

First time out with my 25 Cal Cricket. 2 grays both under 40 yards the red was at 57. This gun hits them hard shooting JSB MKII

Nice shooting on the nutters.

What's the balance like with the Cricket? It just seems like such an unnatural design, but everyone seems to love them. Does it shoulder comfortably? How do you make a cheek weld? Does the action behind your ear make is so you have to bring the rifle down to cycle the action again? Can you do it with a follow up shot while you still have the target in the scope?

Thanks,

Not to hijack a topic but since BeachGunner asked, my Cricket .25 out shoots my Impact. Just shot my best group this weekend at 100 yards. Ten shots into a group measuring 1.025" w/ MKII, off a bag.
Mine is with synth stock and feels heavy until you shoulder it and then the weight seems to disappear. Don't know how that happens, but it does. Very comfortable gun.

Anyway, just my $.02.
Great shooting, Acwilson004!

Wow, that is fantastic shooting and performance from your Cricket. Just a tad over MOA, AND with a 10-shot group. Very, very impressive.
Thanks for your feedback.

Edit: I see that someone else just said the same thing, LOL...

"That 'red squirrel' isn't really 'red squirrel'--it's a fox squirrel. They're a bit larger than grey squirrels (we have both here by me). True 'red squirrels' are a little larger than chipmunks and inhabit pine forests (primarily)-we have those up north. Nonetheless: excellent shooting! Nice setup too!"
