Coal Fenix FX 550 Pellets are Terrible

I recently purchased a tin of Coal Fenix FX 550 .22 caliber pellets to experiment with. It took two shots at 15 yards for me to know there was something off about the pellets. Neither of the two shots hit the 6 inch target I was aiming at from 15 yards away! The first shot was far high and to the right, and the second was far low and to the right. I wondered what the problem could be and imagined that perhaps I had accidently bought .177 pellets and that they were rattling around in my barrel before exiting. Nope, the tin claims to be .22 caliber. I tried to measure several in my PelletGage, but the head diameter on all the pellets was smaller than the smallest hole on the PelletGage! It is hard to image a barrel being choked and narrow enough to like these pellets. Don't waste your money!
