Co2 Cartridge Quality?

I can't tell any difference so I go with the cheapest I can find, which is usually a box of 40 Crosman 12g cartridges at Walmart. They are on sale now for $15.97 per 40.

I just put like 2 drops of penguin oil on the tops to keep the seals in the gun fresh

i never noticed any difference, and i use alot of cartridges. this is the best deal i've found...

The Umarex seem to be of higher quality than the Crosman brand. There is a small but noticeable difference in the size of 12 gm. cylinders. The Crosman cylinder is slightly longer than the Umarex brand. Generally it doesn't make any difference, but I have to make an adjustment (adding 2 pennies) when using the Umarex in their 12 gm. adapter. As mentioned above, I always oil the cylinder tip using the oil that the manufacturer recommends.
