I have a Master Chrony Beta and a new RAW HM 1000x .357 (130 ft-lbf regulated) rifle. I am having trouble getting the Chrony sensors to detect the pellets. I have had no problem in this area with my P-Rod, Daystate Pulsar .25, or FX Impact .30. I am shooting 81.02 gr JSBs. I have pulled the muzzle back from the Chrony in case the proximity was causing issues. No joy. Any thoughts out there?

"Hynzie"i bet it hits like a brick i have little to offer there, did you try putting anything else across the chrony ,,toss of a pair of balled up sox a wavw of the hand always reading error ha
I'll get 'er figured out. She does have a noticeable kick that my Impact did not have, so maybe that's a contributing factor. It's fun getting all this stuff sorted out though.

"Mick-VA"A BC of .054 has proven to be pretty accurate for me out to 98 yards. I zero at 48 yards set for 1 inch kill zone with a 1/2" variance PBR from 16-53 yards. 3.6 Mils for 100 yards.
Right now, without actual Chrony and empirical BC numbers, my Chairgun is set at a zero of 41.3 yards, a kill zone of 1/2", and a BC of 0.535. That's pretty darn close to empirical numbers I suspect. I'm seeing a pellet drop of 14.58" at 100 yards. That's a lot more than your storied .30 cal, but only about half the drop of my Impact. Sure, higher velocity will produce a flatter trajectory, but a given ballistic impact energy is still that particular ballistic impact energy no matter how it gets there, right?

When outside I make sure the lighting conditions are the same for each sensor. As in the whole unit in the sun, or in the shade but not in between. If you have florescent bulbs as most do for ambient light turn them off as that is what is interfering with your chrony.

I have my set-up dialed-in just right now; getting valid reads each shot. That's a nice rig you got there!
