There is no species "common house sparrow" . There are about 33 other types of sparrows listed under the migratory bird treaty act. The sparrows Ted shoots are English sparrows which are an invasive species and not protected under the act. The European starling or more commonly known as the common starling is also an invasive species and not protected under the act. Robins are protected under the act. Your publicly posting pictures of and admitting to breaking that law opens you up to potential investigation and questioning if any game officials wanted to pursue it.
