Cheaper for me to buy my pellets from AoA than Australian distributor.

Yep this will vary according to exchange rates but here's the numbers
20 tins JSB .25 King Heavies Mk11 from AoA plus postage to Australia US$465.17 AU$613.89
AoA. US$23.25 per tin

20 tins Jsb .25 King Heavies from local distributor plus postage US$589.11 AU$742.20
Australian distributor US$29.45 per tin

The Australian price is based on the last time I bought Heavies from him when I purchased 5
tins so postage for 20 tins may make a slight difference to price/ tin

Also often doesn't have various popular pellets in stock. I asked over a year ago would he be able to import some Mk11 pellets. Didn't happen.
I know there are retailers who would love to take over distribution but JSB won't change.

...in the UK, the retail prices are outrageous so the majority buy from Intershoot, and or this reseller in Europe who sources direct from JSB > http://jsb-diabolos.de/?6-35-25,24

Bogdan & Olga Kimla are known the 10m circuit and are respected ex champs. I've bought plenty of 50 tins in the past, and ordered original parts from Feinwerkbau via Bogdan K.

Bogdan who is quick to respond says the following:

to make an example (Australia) with Exact King Heavy MK2:
To make a 20 kg package full, we take 24 tins = 213.60 €
Shipment to Australia (DHL) = 101,- €

Total with shipment: 314.60 € =~ 467 Australian Dollars.
http://www.xe.com/en/currencyconverter/
It makes:
467 / 24 =~ 19.50 AusDollar per tin.

By payment per PayPal is about about 3-4% (i must check exactly) to add (exchange course), or he has a PayPal account with Euros.

19.50 + 3% = 20.10 AusDollar per tinEnd Total price.

You can post it on forum.

Kind regards,
Bogdan

I got one of the bullet molds from MP molds that Gregor organized. I'd guessed it would be a bit more expensive than high end pellets, but worth it. Shocked to find out they're cheaper than cheap pellets (not counting my labor). With the cheap reclaimed range lead alloy from Roto metals, works out to be .78 cent per 36 grain slug. Three hours to pour 2000. Your local equivalent may be an option.

JG66 that is an attractive option! I have some airgun mates who I'm sure would be interested.
Might be a while before we get an order together but will report back.
I wasn't expecting someone to come up with a solution was just letting of steam but glad I did.
Really appeciate your effort. Thanks
Cernunnos I don't if I have the patience for casting my own! Thanks anyway.

Hey AirSupply
I ordered a few tins of JSB .22 from Poland at a good price but they were confiscated at the airport by border control. They were eventually released after I submitted the correct paperwork but it was a pain in the arse. They classify pellets and even lead shot as live ammunition. Go figure. As you know, air guns are considered firearms in this country.

Hi Eaglebeak. Yes it is a pain. Sometimes they will come through and sometimes border control holds them.
I ordered 20 tins from AoA and they sent them in 2 parcels of 10 tins each. One came straight to me and the other I think they may be holding.
As soon as I see they are holding them (watch tracking) I send in the B710 permission form.
Then I usually have it when I get the notification from Border forces and send it back the same day.
This speeds things up a bit. They then forward the pellets through the post.
Just need to stay stocked up.
Defo going to try GJ66's contact next time.

Great post! Sometimes people don't thinbk about what country other folks are in and just how different the same airguns & assc. list for as well as model not in this or that country.

Darn nice of folks to share there "best deals" AND include links for we the not internet savvy.

Back when JSB was new I used to order cases from Canada to TN ( U.S.) and saved a lot of money that way. But that was before they had locked down dealers in the U.S. .

Reading your post does make me feel lucky to have paid about $16.00 for 4 tins of JSB 15.9 after using my "bullseye bucks" and combining some other stuff.
