Agreed, on the plug and play. Look forward to seeing the guts of this unit and comparing it to the Altaros. 

I read on the yellow the AV Booster ships with no instructions?

Just seen this:· On / Off switch· Bottle of oil that serves as an air lubricant. The dosage is already preset. Recommended one drop every minute· Air release screw - after each use of the Booster, to remove all air and condensation inside· Safety pressure valve - can be set to different PSI and when it reaches the stipulated limit, the Booster stops

seems to show what could be this unit. Darn similar to the Haskel if this is it. not so friendly to rebuild but a proven design.

I think you are probably correct that the AV is the Xisico Booster.

Honestly I would trust the altaros unit more since its been out out longer, great customer service, and well built. Plus from what ive seen they teated their unit several years before going on to the market. And for 639 shipped to your door and showed up on my door step in 10days. Cant beat that. Either way its still a good idea with either or to get a compressor inline dessicant dryer. And a good dessicant/filter inbetween booster and your tank

Sorry it took so long to get back. Been busy with work and I wanted to use the booster for a while. So far so good. Been performing flawlessly. I was worried at first because it looks slightly...well it looks thrown together. But so far, I have no complaints. If I had a regular compressor already, I would get this. If not, I would spend a little more and get an HPA compressor. I just happened to already have a small 125 compressor so I opted for the booster.

Ag, are you filling a tank? Or straight to gun? What kinda fill times are you getting? Thanks.
I will tell ya, that AV looks a lot less thrown together than the Altaros. (I'm sure your Altaros works fine, don't yell at me) The thing comes built into a plastic toolbox.
