Been looking for a sunshade for my Helos 6-24x50mm. Where are you folks getting yours or if you are using another brand which?

Now have you actually use the Argos 50mm sun shade on a Helos 50mm or just assuming that it fits? I read a Q&A on Amazon that they don't fit each other.

Do you have Amazon Prime? I'd say just buy it and if it doesn't fit then say it's defective and doesn't fit and they'll print you a return label. I say the one guy say it doesn't fit but I find it hard to believe if they Argos such as mine and the Helos are both 50mm objective that the sunshade would be made specific to each scope line. But perhaps they are. Just call or email Athlon if you don't want to mess with the hassle.
On a seperate note, I wish the Helos line was available when I got my Argos. I don't dislike my Argos, but would have preferred the Helos. Tell you what, I'll trade my Argos WITH sunshade for your Helos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No I have not. I just noticed when I ordered mine (Argos) it was listed on Optics planets website as fitting the Helos also. I would call Athlon. I here they have superb service.

I have become a fan of Athlon. I have two Argos scopes and would not hesitate to get an upper model. I have some upper quality scopes in other well known brands and for the money they do a good job.

They do have great customer service. Last year got a Talos but the recticle was canted, called them up and they sent me a label to ship it and in a few week they sent me another.
I'm really loving the Helos, what a fantastic scope, every thing on it is really NICE. Don't see myself getting any other scope in the future except for another Helos.

So it turns out that it is same as the Argos BTR and it is 115mm not 80mm as describe. I would of prefer a 80mm but the 115mm is fine it is still shorter then my muzzle end.
