Anyone have the Gamo Urban?

I bought one at Walmart a couple of weeks back for $209 shipped. Putting a Bugbuster 3-12 with a sidewheel on it. Looking for a lightweight PCP as an accurate plinker or small varmint rifle. My friend Paul Bracaglia is setting it up for me. I have high hopes. It is back in stock a buck cheaper at WM today after being out of stock for a while.

I got it for 200 plus tax free shipping.its quiet but not a whisper it only comes in 22 ? and it has no sling mounts all that sucks but check it out. You dont need a reg. The reg will actually lose shots for you. Also the spread on mine out of the box was rediculously low. Im not possitive on that but i had insane accuracy at 25 yards and saw zero drop over 15 shots. Seriously though I did nothing to the gun but clean it and wiegh/lube pellets. So if there is no difference in accuracy and shot count is higher without the reg. Why do you need one?

$172.00 + $16.34 tax, free delivery, Nov 25th 2017 from Walmart. Already had one but for that price I just could not resist.
I have a Huma regulator to go in it but I still haven't set up my shooting range outside, I want to compare it the un-regulated one.
Before I can do that I need an enclosed point to shoot from in my back yard, I live in Los Angeles and discharging an airgun is prohibited by city ordinance.
I need to keep the noise contained so that some cry-baby weeny whiner doesn't decide to call the police on me.

I bought my Urban back around August when they had them on special at Pyramyd Air. I bought the bundle with the Mantis scope. This is my first PCP so I ordered a Hill hand pump too. I selected the Urban mostly on specs and partly on price. The small air reservoir makes it hand pump friendly so it is pretty easy to recharge. Takes me maybe ten minutes including a couple two minute rests for the pump as I hear that handumps can heat up and damage the seals if you don't take it easy on them. If you don't go to full pressure, around 2900 to 3000 psi you can pump quicker with maybe only a few less shots per fill.

My Urban seems to favor 18 grain pellets for accuracy. I get a solid 30 shots before time to pump. I can get around 40 shots with lighter pellets but in mine anyway, that gives a bit of a trade off in accuracy.

The one sore spot with me is the mushy plastic trigger. You have to cut a little slack I suppose, being a starter gun but if it came with a better trigger I would not have had a problem paying more to get it.

I have shot about six hundred pellets through the Urban so far and it can sit on the shelf for three or four weeks and holds full pressure. Overall this is a great bargain in an airgun!
