Any Small Bore Bullet Shooters With Good results past 125 Yards ?

I been asking around about bullet shooters, .177, 22, .25 condors, Crickets, Huben K1, and daystate rifles.

I seen there are .177 up to .25 bullets for alot of these guns and others. The problem when looking on youtube or getting any visual confirmation is that very few if any shooters are getting solid results over shooting pellets.

There is 1 video of a huben shooting long distance with a good BC using a bullet. I see big bores using bullets but not anything in the .177 to .25 size.

Any shooters have good experiences in the 125 to 200 yard range for taking out birds, pDogs, rabbits at that range ?
I have an FX impact and might just give up on the bullet shooter dream as I see guys shooting long distance with these pellet shooters. Now the pellet shooters have way more wind drift and bullet drop but at least there is something go on.

So if you could post your experience of groups and distance past 100 yards that be great. Example Condor, .25 Using Piledrivers at 880 fpe, with xyz mods ect.

Thanks

It might be a bit hasty to give up on shooting bullets in your FX Impact, since FX is offering a kit to upgrade older Impacts to use the new Smooth Twist X barrel system. Once you have the upgrade kit, you can order Smooth Twist X barrel liners with twist rates designed to shoot bullets best. Wait and see what the new Smooth Twist X barrel kit produces with bullets at long range on the FX Impact.

Just my 2 cents.

I think airgun depot did a video about 25 cal bullets at 48 or 49 grain and the impact didnt do well because it didnt push the pellet fast enough. Nielson specialty has a bunch of lighter bullets you may want to try in 25 caliber. Thats what im going to try next once the weather warms up. Also try the H&N Grizzly 31 grain bullet. They are inexpensive and shoot pretty good out of my condor ss. They also mushroom really good. Maybe once those new barrels come out you will have more choices.

Critta, yep you are correct. I have tried a bunch of smaller light weight bullets out of my FX. The impact could not shoot piledrivers which are a bullet out of my .177 barrel. In my 25 cal fx barrel I tried the 48 grain 50 grain and a bunch of other rat sniper type bullets without much success. When I had a condor HP .25 the enjun 40 grainers were super inaccurate past 50 yards. I wish I had my old condor to try some of the bullets now. My feeling is I still would not be impressed with the results thou. The lack of response on this thread indicates this as well. We see who else chimes in but as of now looks like very few people have tried and the ones that have tried the results are so poor they do not even bother.
