Any new comments on the Crown??

Made it to the 50 yard lane today and had a little fun. It was a beautiful day with winds about 6-8 left to right. Spent a bit of time with the Wildcat just checking out the shooting conditions. Then broke out the Crown to see if she was going to complain.
Not one complaint. After a little bit of figuring out the wind and the scope elevation, she started dropping them right in there. And remember I'm still on 5. I was going to spend a little more time and shoot on 4 and MAX and see if it made any difference. But someone else showed up. I don't play well with others I guess and I packed it in.
This is the first target. No compensation for the wind. Just holding dead on to see what the groups would look like. It seems the Crown deals with the wind a little better. Maybe the slightly longer barrel and the jump from 890's of the WC to the 905's of the Crown made a difference. And on this wobbly stand I was able to hold the Crown a little more stead due to it weight and length.
Here I did a little hold left to compensate for wind and dropped in 10 shots. I was hoping to blast a lot of other targets I had at the ready. But sometimes when your gut tells you to move, you just move.

Just wanted to also comment that I’m very happy with my purchase. I got mine back a couple of weeks back. Have about 200 rounds
down range now. Regulator gage went from 125 to 120 bar. Just switched from max / max to Max / 5. Seems quieter and using less
air maybe more efficient as it seems same poi. No chronograph but purchasing on black Friday so I’ll have numbers soon I hope.
The gun has an Athlon Ares with no limits scope rings. Would I make the same purchase again the answer is yes. Shooting off the
back of a chair and getting very good results imo. Only shooting 35 yards in backyard but if I hold steady it is a ragged hole.pics and more info to come. Right now we are in the middle of phase 1 duck season. Once it closes next week I will concentrate on the Crown.

Checked the Crown today with the heavies. I find that at setting 5, the 34 gr JSB shoots at 790. If I bump it up to MAX, I get 830 fps. And it sounds like the "whoosh" is gone with the heavier pellet. As expected, my holdover @50 is 1 mil compared to dead on with the 25 gr. Also tried the 31 gr H&N and got 870 fps. All these pellets are very accurate. It doesn't seem like the Crown is particular about its pellets.
