An ammo carry solution for Texan owners

As a Texan owner do you hate carrying soft lead bullets to the field like this which are easily damaged:

Well here is a easy solution for 38 bullets and fresh breath too (please do put the Altoids in your mouth and NOT the soft lead bullets :p )

I am sure there are also many other items useful for this as well.

How do you carry your expensive large bore rounds?

I also use TicTac for JSB King Heavies. Recently I found orange match holders (bonus they are full of those infernal matches that will not strike except on the included sand paper) for $1 at Walmart which resemble a 12 ga shell in size so they would work in a bandoleer. They hold 50 rounds of .25

Thinking about damaged big bore bullets and their flight I did a calculation: Bullet RPM = Muzzle Velocity X 720 / Twist rate of the barrel.

For example a bullet fired at 850 fps with a 14" twist barrel is spinning at nearly 44K rpm when leaving the barrel so small dings off center can contribute to off axis rotation which definitely is a factor in poor accuracy. Anybody with Radio Control flying experience can tell you the effects of off balance on a flying craft.

Here is another "recycled container I have come up with:

The items are a 3 liter bottle top and neck of a 3 liter bottle, a 2 liter cap and pellets. Pretty easy to do, push the 2 liter cap in to the 3 liter neck face down then screw on the 3 liter cap. you can glue the 2 liter cap into the neck if desired.

"badammo"Hornady makes an excellent box for their muzzle lo!der bullets that is well designed for just this application. Of course you could just recast the muzzle loader bullets and then use the box.
No need if you have muzzle loaders too! ;) I have a problem with Hornady marketing department though which precludes me buying their products after using them for over 40 years but that is a topic for another forum. Suffice it to say that it is my belief and not Hornady's that "Fantasy" and Firearms are "Bad Bedfellows"
