Airgun Red Squirrel Hunt 7 (Video)

"Rocko"Kool Vid. What kind of skull do you think that was ?
Rocko, I was hoping more people guess what that was... When people ask me in person about it, I make up some fictional creature just to get a reaction. In fact, I keep the local children pretty stirred up with "all these creatures I encounter in the forest" if you will. :) Ready.... It's a Cow. Notice the teeth, it's a dead give away of a grass feeder of some sort and not a meat eater. Thanks for asking!

"Michael"Well Done, Bravo! Another fine video.

Good cinematography both on target and filming yourself.

? Do you record you shots at regular speed, then slow them down on your computer? Or do you add the sound effects afterwords?
Michael,

Well... Both. What it comes down to is the amount of light I have in the forest to work with. At least as far as my video recording goes. If it's bright, I can record at a higher frame rate. But as you know if it's dark, I'm out of luck and only use 30 fps. There for I have no choice but to slow it down in post. Quick tip; The "EV" can be adjusted to mitigate some of the light, "Thank you Cedric". :) Now as for sound, it get's a little tougher for me. I've used up to 3 cameras at a time. I take the best audio and mix it in during post. Depending on the frame rate, I have to adjust the speed of the sound to match what people will see on video. I've been lucky so far to get it to work.
