Airgun Depot's Long Rangers

Spent all day out practicing for the Long Rangers with my Benjamin bulldog at 150 yards. There is my best group! EIGHT hit the target (TOO BAD IT WAS A 30 SHOT GROUP... benched.) Makes wonder how certain people on you tube can hit a target at 151 yards free hand?

You've only got to hit it once 👍

I finally hit my ball with my Hatsan Gladius long in .22 but I'm very embarrassed to say that i lost count of how many shots i took. So many my video camera with a zoom went dead and had to video with my phone. Probably around 150 shots. Then my rifle fell off of my truck and landed on the scope.

To make excuses, it was over 104 degrees and the darn heat mirage distorted the air so bad i could watch the ball move around at least 1 moa. Plus the sweat kept making my eyes burn and to top it all off i got stung by a red wasp. Just hoping the fact that the wasp was red is a good omen. Cause everything else about that day sucked!!!

When it cools off i'm going to try with my Bulldog but holy cow it's frigging hot in West Texas right now.

If i really have to post that video here i will but I'm really disgusted and embarrassed that it took me so many shots.

Hey man at least you got it. I just got back from the range and 150 with my .177 was out of the question. I managed to get four shots on a standard steel body silhouette out of 15, and those were in a 12" group. Though I am happy with the 75yd results using H&N Sniper Magnums Shooting at Egg silhouettes. Right on target for the rim fire match I'll be going to in a couple weeks. As for the challenge I'll need to borrow a .22 or .25, or have a day with no wind at all for the .177 to work.

Seth i don't know the answer to that. I've owned a bt65 and i've shot an Impact and just holding the gun you can feel the quality difference. Is it 1300 dollars difference? I don't know.
I tuned and tweaked and fiddled with my BT65 until I got the power up to where i thought it should be for hunting but then in reality it was too much for my backyard, so i sold it. The reason i got the Gladius was so that i could power down to 2 for my backyard and power it up to 6 for hunting. But the Impact is so much more adjustable than the Gladius that if you are the kind of guy that likes to fiddle and tune your gun it's your dream gun. But if you just want to pull it out of the box and shoot it then it's a waste of money IMHO. Me, I'm a fiddler and just the thought of having all those knobs and dials to fiddle with makes me happier than a Puppy with 2 Peters!

"Hajimoto"Hey guys! I got my 150 and 175-yard submissions in and will be trying for my 200-yarder this Friday and Saturday with my buddy Jay from JaysOutdoor.life

I look forward to seeing your submissions guys and gals!

Get'er Dun!

Nice job guys, can't wait to try it myself!

"TheLakeRat"I'm cringing already at the comments that I'm gonna receive at this video. I just watched it again and i wanted to cry when my Gladius hit the ground. But if y'all really want to see it then here it is.

Sorry about your gun. I enjoyed your story. What to get it done in the extreme heat!

Thanks for sharing
