Airgun Conventions

A guy on another forum that I frequent about Mac computers was asking about conventions that people go to. It occurred to me that I don't really know where or when airgun conventions are held. I did a little research and found that there's one in Sacramento, but it was in March. Maybe next year. What other airgun conventions are there? If you can, provide a link to their website.

Dont know the details but i know of an annual one in Malvern AR, one in OH ("Toys that shoot", I think), a newer one in Texas (the Tom Gaylord special

) and I think others.

I have not attended any exclusive Airgun convention but I have attended the Shot Show many times...Is is very and I mean very fun and entertaining, but don't believe everything you hear because not 100% but 150% of the guns in those shows happen to be the most accurate and best performing guns in the world!

There's a shooting and events thread, but the problem with that is with a few exceptions, there's little or no advance notice. It's usually a write-up of someone's experience after it's over. I'd like to build a list of as many events as possible so we can tell when and where the next one will be long in advance.

The SHOT show may be the closest thing we have to a convention. Not even sure if the public is invited. Think I saw a video of Ted and he had dealer badge on for cover.

It was in Las Vegas last year and all the big names are there to diplay their wares. Scopes, guns, etc.

The SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade show) is an annual event put on by the NSSF (National Shooting Sports Foundation) for those involved in the shooting/outdoor industry. Generally, this means attendance is limited to retailers and their employees or companies that are linked to the outdoors as well as law enforcement, and the outdoor media.

The public version of the SHOT show is the Great American Outdoor Show held annually in Harrisburg, PA.
