Air Venturi Big Bore Airgun Pellets 9mm 66gr

This is a brief mini review of these round balls in .9mm and 66 gr weight. I'll let the picture do the talking:

The 4 balls on the right (if you can call them that ..... more correctly diving bells) are from the box. As seen they have a "foot" about 1.5mm high and .26 caliber in diameter.
I would not expect accuracy from a wrist rocket using round ball like these. They also have visible parting lines as seen in the 3rd and 4th balles from the left.

The ball on the left is much improved ........ how you might ask? Well I am not Ted and I have no secrets :p so I'll tell you!

The ball on the left has been tumbled in a small Lortone Vibratory tumbler for 5 hours (dry with no filler). Although a small flat dimple remains I think I might squeeze a bit of accuracy from it now. The parting lines are erased as well and the overall spherical shape of the ball is much more uniform as is the entire surface finish. Diameter was not changed more than +-.001". End diameter .358".

The above are the worst case examples from the box. The ball on the left is representative of the processed batch minus the worst case examples (9 total of 200).
Nothing will fix those "diving bells" but a pot of melted lead and remolding.

Edited with a larger data set since tumbling is complete at 8 hours.
