Air Arms TX585 or Q-Tec Moderators that ship to or in the U.S.

Hey fellow air gunners. To start off I'm new to this forum. Looks like lots of great discussions and information here.

I recently purchased an Air Arms TX200 HC and would like to moderate it for more friendly backyard fun. I was wondering if anyone had any luck finding Air Arms TX585 or Q-Tec Moderators for sale online that ship here to the U.S. Everything I find is mostly from the UK and I don't believe they are allowed to ship moderators over seas. Most sites where I have found them for sale say UK shipping only, face to face or through RFD in the UK. I've tried a 1/2 UNF male to male adapter from eBay with my DonnyFL Sumo and the look and function is terrible. The adapter shakes loose and there is an unsightly gap between the muzzle and adapter. So I figured I'd get a moderator made by the same company. I just can't find any TX585 or Q-Tec moderators that will ship here. Also if anyone knows of another 1/2 UNF male thread end moderator that would work also. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Im not sure if it would even help. The loudest part of my tx200 is the spring. Can you send the picture of the one you have? Does it actually quiet the report??

The adapter was a waste of money. It doesn't sit flush to the muzzle nor the moderator. It was shakes loose after each shot. That's why I'm looking for the one piece male end moderator from Air Arms. Very hard to find since the UK cannot ship them overseas.

IMHO, moderators or shrouds don't have a material impact with springers. I have tried them, and the difference was barely noticeable. As mentioned, the noise with springers is almost entirely mechanical. Best way to reduce noise with a springer is to reduce power and tune the internals.

From afar with someone else shooting the rifle I don't here the mechanical noise. I really just here the report. Which isn't all that much but I would really like to keep the report as minimal as possible. Krale has an Air Arms moderator but they are currently sold out. I actually bought a Vortek Tune Kit and it greatly reduced the mechanical noises, and smoothed out the cycling but the performance dropped significantly. Standard deviation of a 20 shot group nearly doubled from stock configuration, I lost velocity and greatly lost accuracy. Went back to the original spring assembly and it shoots like a dream. That tune kit was a waste of money.
