I have the Ultimate Sporter version in .177 with Q tech moderator. It ihas the same action as the s510,which is buttery smooth. This is a proven design especially in the smaller calibers(.177,.22). The fit and finish rivals more expensive PCPs.

At half power in .177 it shoots an Air Arms Heavy 16g pellet(this ones pellet of choice)on average 900 fps and getting 50 shots. At 50 yards do like to crank it up to full power and 1/2 inch groups are normal but shot count goes down to 30 while producing 24 fpe in .177. On low power shooting at 10 meters I stopped counting at 100 shots and makes a great 10 meter rifle. I have had zero issues with this airgun and it has performed flawlessly.

S510 Poplar, ~8 years or so. It's a solid dependable shooter and always has been. I've outshot many more expensive with it. It's one of the better values in the mid-level airgun range.
I say mid-level because It is not regulated and has not been able to keep up with my higher end rifles in the accuracy dept. On the flip side, I still have it after all these years and all those rifles, that should tell you something. :)

I own 2 AA S510's one walnut in .22 cal and a beech stocked in .177. Had the .22 for 5 years and the .177 for a little over a year. Both great shooters, quiet and accurate. I usually shoot the .22 at 1/2 power with 14.3 gr premiers at 35 yds and dead on. The .177 loves the H&N sniper mediums at 1/3 power out to 35-40 yds. They are both tack drivers and stingy on air usage at their power settings. Hope this helps. No regrets,, I would buy them again.

Nice gun but how do you store it? Looks like your ring bolts are rusty??

New to PCPs but I am very interested in learning all that I can about the AA 510s. I purchased a 30 Anniversary model (300092) from Gunbroker for $850.00. The gun and case is in mint condition but was missing the anniversary pin and aluminum magazines.

A 50 shot string at full power setting (175 bar) with 14.3 CPHP lubed pellets this gun shows a High of 532fps and a Low of 494 (135 bar) with an Avg. of 518 and ES of 38. The 30 shot "sweet spot" appears to be from shot number 8 (170 bar) to shot number 39 (137bar).

A 100 shot string at low power is a comparatively stable 526 fps (175 bar) to 494 fps ( 130 bar).

Again, I appreciate all you can share with regard to this gun.
