AEAC's video review of the new BSA r10 SE .22

Impressive rifle! It compares favorably to my Daystate Huntsman Classic in every way but one, the silencer. That BSA silencer really works well. This is the first of your videos that I can recall where the sound of the shot was not audible in your downrange mic at 100 yards. All I could hear was the pellet hitting the paper! Wish my Daystate Huntsman Classic were that quiet right out of the box. I'm not even sure that an extra $200 plus for a Huggett will achieve that level of quietness.

Thanks for all you do, Steve.

If I didn't know better........ I would think this video was filmed a few years ago!
I'm surprised this gun doesn't get more attention on this forum. One question.... Will a carbon bottle fit this gun also?

BSA makes some nice ambidext. stocks for this rifle. Problem is they won't import them. I've asked BSA and GamoUSA(importer) about this and all you get is lawyer-speak runaround. The carbon bottle will fit but you usually have to slightly open up the channel in the stock. CF bottles are a little fatter than the metal ones. I'd love to have the carbine with the cinnamon laminate stock but no one will bring it in.

I was thinking the same thing.. That's why I asked for it from AGD, lol. So glad they said yes. Holy smokes, what an all around great rifle. Yes, there are CF bottles available for it. Steve

"sirk"how is it possible that the 15.9s were unregulated and later other pellets gave flat power output?
i do not think they sorted the erratic old regulator. Did you Steve adjust the hammer spring between pellet brands ?

Didn't touch a thing. I did notice that the reg was still settling in several hundred shots in and it was continuing to flatten out. The very last shot chart I ran & shared in the vid had a SD of 7 across the 40... perfectly acceptable for 100 yard shooting. Would have loved to take one final look 500 shots in though. Steve

"knifemaker"Hard to understand why the Left handed stock is not made available to un here in the US> I'm ambi, but left eye dominate. FX finally saw the light in this regard!
Good Looking AG Steve!

Yeah, one of my favorite things about the r10 is its stock and without it, the whole things becomes less exciting to me. I agree. Too bad. Steve

"Bruce"If they made this in a .25 I would have to own 1..........Hell I might have to own one anyway, LOL.

I was thinking about that too then I came to my senses and realized that in .25, that docile no-flip nature that helps make it sooo easy to shoot well would be gone. I like a lot about this rifle but that's what I think I like the most.
