Accu-Tac FC-5 bi-pod vrs atlas accushot bipod

Your title and your content don't quite match. However I do own all three bipods you have listed.

The Accu-tac FC-5 is a beast. It was designed for benchrest shooting and that's where it excels. Compared to the other bipods it has a much wider stance and can pan quite a bit. It's the heaviest of all my bipods & is cumbersome to carry.

The SR-5 & the BT-10 are the most comparable. The BT-10 can pan & tilt up to 15 degrees. The SR-5 can tilt significantly more & the adjustment lever is quicker & easier.

If I were just comparing the SR-5 & the BT-10 here's my take:

The SR-5 is built like a tank, has easier adjustments, spring loaded legs, & the legs don't swivel when locked in the carry position @ 180 degrees. However this bipod is definitely heavier than the BT-10.

The BT-10 is smaller & lighter. The only thing i really don't like is that the legs swivel when in the carry position.

All 3 bipods are high quality precision products.

thanks micheal. I'm just going to be using my bipod for bench rest shooting.. and I want the highest quality unit but just as important I want the most stable bipod I can get.
does the accutac pan and tilt as much as the sr5 and bt10? or do the accutack even pan at all?
do the sr5 pan and tilt like the bt10? or do the sr5 not pan and tilt at all?.
thanks for the help Michael. just trying to make an educated purchase for my raw bm500 with lrt stock.

btw I don't shoot my rifle from a bench. I do all my prone target work in a grassy field and not from a bench.. so just trrying to get a stable bipod that's has great stability. and ease of use.
I wont be doing any hunting with the bipod.
just wondering what bipod do you suggest with the above factored in.
thanks

Accu-tac makes the SR & FC models.
B&T industries makes the Atlas BT-10 & BT-35.

Accu-tac SR cant only , FC pan only.
Atlas BT-10 & BT35 pan & cant up to 15 degrees.

I've never used the BT35 which is similar to the FC5. I think cant is most useful on uneven ground. In which case you could always adjust the legs on either brand, or fine tune the feet (on the Accu-tac only).

If prone Benchrest is your thing then I'd recommend you look at the
BT35 & FC5 or FC10
