A TX200 and a beautiful day in TN

Hopefully the pictures will load..... An absolutely beautiful day in east TN. 75 degrees, sunny, very low humidity, and only a slight breeze. A day to take out the TX and practice a little. I have a TX200 in .22 with a Hawke Vantage 3-9x50 IR with a Sportsmatch dampa mount. All the shots were taken on a bench at 30 yards. My backstop I constructed from some leftover plywood. It has two 2x4 in front, 3 layers of leftover carpet behind that, 10lbs of duct seal behind that, 1/8" plate steel behind that, and finally plywood box back. I just replace the 2x4's when they get chewed up a bit.

I had the scope's cross hairs on the center

I'm still pretty new at air gunning and working on the basics. I have three other air rifles, a Kral puncher breaker silent in .25, a Diana Model 48 in .22, and an "ancient" Daisy 499B. The TX is my favorite so far, and you get a bit of a workout. Anyway....a beautiful day spent outside

So far the AA 18gr Diabolo Field Heavy is the best choice in my TX. The first grouping of the AA Heavies, the target to the left, I was really trying to pay attention (breathing, hold on the gun, etc.). The second target the wind kicked it up a notch for a few minutes. I just got in a bunch of H&N pellets that I am going to try out relatively soon. I had tried to get the Premiers to group better. The Crosman tin in the above picture houses pellets I washed and then lubed with Napiers, but they grouped about the same as the ones that came straight out of the tin. But, my Diana 48 LOVES the Premiers.
