A Special Thank You to T3P Ranch, Thurmond

Me and Thurmond had been talking about maybe doing some hunting and plinking for a bit and we had done some good old horse trading recently so Friday , I drove over to West Texas, been a long time since I was in that part of the country. As I drove out of my piney woods area and headed his direction the first thing that is really noticed is the mesquite trees, then as you get closer and start getting into the cap is a surprising amount of color and beauty, Not only the blues of our state flower the Blue Bonnet but the pinks and yellows of the Buttercups, Combined with the majestic beauty of the reds and striations in the cap rock and rolling hills

We had had a great time Thurmond is an incredible host and made pulled pork bbq that I swear is some of the best in west Texas. Our original plan was for me to come over with my big bore and do some hog and predator hunting but last minute business plans on Saturday cut my night hunting plans short for Friday, Still we made a great day of it.
Worked on the Texan / ATN X-Sight Combo getting it dialed in, And got to play with some great shooting airguns out of Thurmond's closet. One of which I had a really hard time turning loose of A custom modified and Tuned Air Force .25 Condor, A true pleasure to shoot with nothing but the sound no louder than "tink" of two wine glasses saluting the death of another pest 50 60 yards away.
Between the Rabbits, Turtles, Hog Sign, Coyote Sign, there is more than enough non game to shoot at. Thurmond has a stock pond with some BIG catfish that also has a turtle problem we lightened that problem considerably and fed some hungry catfish in the process.
To be bluntly honest I had so much fun I completely forgot about the camera and that is my only regret

Thurmond my brother
Thanks again for a great time, hope we can do it again soon
