A custom bullet mold for Huben K1

I purchased a mold and sizer.... not because I have a Huben (yet) but because I just want to experiment with casting the bullets and try them in other guns. In your video you mentioned you put 10 units (lbs in my case) lead and 1 unit linotype together for an alloy. So that adds to 11 lbs and if I calculate the percentages it is 98.5 percent lead, 1.1 percent Antimony and 0.4 percent Tin (assuming linotype is 84%Pb, 12%Sb, 4%Sn).

Seems like those are very small percentages of tin and antimony but I'm a newbie at this. Does that sound right?

Bullets from the mold, sized. The four on the left are fired and recovered (went through an inch of 60 durometer urethane at fairly low power, giving them a bead blasted appearance). The two on the right are unfired. Micrometer measured dimensions: .223 diameter , .426 long unfired; .219 diameter, .431 long recovered. Shot through a gen one Huben (choked). Cast in lead 94.5%, tin 5.5%. By the formula on Rotometals website, same hardness as Gregor's alloy.

I only got my Huben three months ago and from here I have read everything about it, and that is how I got to know this forum. I've seen all the videos that you put on Youtube more than once which has helped me a lot and one thing is for sure: with JSB Beast at 300m / s I get very good groups at 100mt. (I do not have room for more here around); with JSB Heavy I can not get anything that resembles what I do with my Jkhan, but with H & N Baracuda Match at 288m / s I get groups of 1.2 "to 50mt, which for the practice I have with it will not be bad.
Now regarding the MP mold, I also want to get one.

Hi. For light pellets, your pressure must be much lower than for heavy Beasts... Try to set the pressure to 110 or even 100 bar.
Regarding MP mold: I have been noticing that some of the newer Huben K1 version 2 has slightly different design of the magazine and it can happen that the bullets do not fit the magazine well. Because of this I cannot recommend it anymore. I would advise to wait for Huben pellets/bullets to be available.

I have some additional information regarding the MP mold. For the future orders, MP mold will ask you about the length of the hole in the magazine that does not have grooves (rear side od the magazine...). The mold with therefore be slightly shorter if your magazine has shorter area without grooves (longer grooves). I will post this on the MP mold thread as well...
