USING A LEAD HEAD ENGINEERED BY RAY PRATT AND SHOT TETHERED FROM A TANK WITH
AN ADJUSTABLE REGULATED OUTPUT SET AT ITS SWEET SPOT. whew...
Come on AJ you know the deal. Pics or it didn't happen!

The best groups are 0,63 MOA.

And these are my groups for 100 meters (109,4 yard) with the same Cricket Carbine. Outdoor shooting and 1.5 MOA. Not so bad.

Here's my FX500 at 80 from this morning. Just a slight breeze though from left to right.. I felt good on all the shots on my end shooting off a cement bench and very good heart rate so I'm guessing that little bit of wind screwed me again. I'm showing the good and bad starting group was the top left, top right, center, bottom left, bottom right. These are JSB MkI's sorted by weight and then full length sized. Sure be nice to find an indoor 80-100yd range..... but then I wouldn't have any excuses left to use.

It's rare that I get to shoot a couple of weeknights in a row, but I did shoot again last night... I pushed it out to 65 yards. This is just about as far as I can go in my yard :)

Again, 12-shots with JSB 18s. The grey bullseye is 1/2 inch.

Wow I'm digging this FX!

And just for giggles, here's a cell phone photo through my scope at this distance. Please note that it was after 8:30 at night and getting dark out so the quality ain't the greatest. I'll try to do this again when it's brighter out. Scope is an AEON 8-32 and was set at 32x. (It looks better in real life than in this photo.)

I will chime in and show my targets from 2 weekends ago. I was testing pellets to see what I am going to use for this year's competitions. For the past 2 years, I have used the JSB 7.87's as they performed better for me than the bad batch of 8.4's I bought. I bought a new batch of 8.4's and wanted to test them.
All shots taken from 55 yards from the WFTF seated shooting position with my Steyr LG110 at 11 fpe. The inside circle has an OD of just over .75 inch. The large circle has an OD of approximately 1.75 inch.

The bottom row on the first pic was testing the JSB 7.87's at 55 yards. The top left target was the first I shot at 55 with the newly purchased 8.4's. This is approximately 50 shots in the 8.4 target.

In an attempt to duplicate the first set of results, I shot this one and absolutely duplicated the group in my amazement. This is 40 shots at 55 yards with 11 fpe Steyr in 3-5 mph swirling crosswinds. I was able to shoot in lulls at times, but most shots were taking holding at 3 o'clock to some degree.

I was very impressed so I ended up buying 80 tins of the 8.4's.

Thanks,
Boomer

Boomer that is impressive shooting for a 11 fpe gun. 55 yards is a long way for a sub 12 fpe gun. Say hello to the guys, is it true Eakley won a 177 RAW for winning the Southern Open this May?
