OK so I had a guy call me up and ask me at what price point can you expect to get into a new springer that will actually shoot well ? Not laser accurate , just a gun he can have fun with and appreciate how it performs ... Didn't have to think long about it ... Its 300$ . Simple as that , debate it till your blue in the face ....But that's the long and short of it . HW30, Diana 34 , HW95 , HW 50....Its not a long list , but its fairly easy to compile .
My question is why can't a " shootable " springer be made for 200$ ? One that isn't way overpowered , over hyped , and just a nice easy gun to plink around and light pest with ????????
Think HW30 with less polish , but along those lines .
Anybody got any ideas ? Cause I honestly don't see the problem with it .. I HATE telling guys who come to me for advice that a pellet gun you can expect up front to give good reliable service and accuracy is at the 300$ threshold.
In a day and time when we can make a Strip Club with a decent buffet , a Hybrid car that you don't have to plug in , and a decent tasting light beer we can't make a 200$ springer that'll hit a snuff can past 15 yards reliably ?!
Something seems wrong with that to me !
