Wanting to use my yong Heng by the pool because the water is so cold so I can fill my tanks is the salt water safe for it? Has anyone else used their yong Heng this way??

Salt water kills everything.
Ok thanks I'll keep using my ice chest with ice and tap water does blowing the water out the head stop pitting I've heard blowing the water out when your done will help.

I don’t have such a compressor, but it is safe to say that it is not designed to have such a level of corrosion resistance.
If you run your outboard motor is salt water it is recommended to flush with fresh after every use. And they have sacrificial anodes that are supposed to corrode before the motors cooling passages do.
It’s best to avoid salt.

It helps to use Water Wetter or a bit of antifreeze in the water reservoir to avoid mineral build up from tap water.
