Does anyone own this rifle and if so how do you like it? Did you have it tuned by flying dragon?
Seems like a very reasonable gun then for the price, i have always wanted a tx 200 and this seems like the closest option for me."SpudGunner"I have one, and I love it. It's not too pellet sensitive, HOWEVER, it is hold sensitive. Light pellets (7.33 gr JSB) have a shorter lock time than heavier ones (10.44 gr JSB). The shorter the lock time, the less spring torque there is, and the less hold sensitive the rifle is.
With heavier pellets, which I use due to the generally windy conditions here, my experience is that the off hand needs to be light and just ahead of the trigger guard. Trigger hand needs to be light, but you need to seat the palm swell firmly on the heel of your hand to keep the gun from torquing as the spring unwinds. I pull my gun onto my collarbone just a bit for the same reason.
A Melick delrin top hat is a big help in reducing torque ... shrink wrap over the (cheesy) rear spring guide smooths out the shot cycle. Honda moly grease has enough conventional petroleum grease in it to provide fuel for combustion without dieseling/detonation.
I had to make a trip to my "barrel tweaking tree" to get the POI centered in the scope, but my XS 46U will shoot 1" groups at 52 yards all day, except in a hard, gusty wind.
My $.02/YMMV
I may have to pick one of these up here soon."LIVIT"Mos, you and I both were on the fence for a good while trying to decide which underlever to buy. I almost bought a TX200 and I am now glad that I bought the XS46U. The more I shoot it the more I am impressed. For $235 fully tuned and shipped, you cannot beat it !! The accuracy of the XS is better than I can shoot and thats saying alot for me with my background in firearms. The shot cycle is very smooth. Just put a decent air gun scope on it and like Spud said I would put it up against any other underlever for accuracy.
